I Talk About You

03/23/2015; A week shy of 5 months, this is so sad on my part. Last I heard Dads' song by Donna Ray was still bumping up into the top10 of the SOUNDCLICK RockABilly chart and being in the top100 of the SOUNDCLICK country chart. Not too shabby for Dad and Donna.
Came upon an epiphany, The Sabbath IS Saturday! Hope You Have A Nice Day!
10/29/2014; Again it's taken me simply months to get my dense ears here to make another post. But right now it's corn harvest time and I'm about as busy as can be. Or at least... I'm getting a whole lot of time in anyway. Such fun!!
08/23/2014; Nothing going on, as per usual. I did though, get to spend the whole week working, even earned some money for the doing of that. Not as much perhaps as I might have liked to have coming in for my time, but better than the nothing that had been coming in; I guess. Dads' "I TALK ABOUT YOU" song by Donna Ray went back up into the top 5 of the rock-a-billy chart, (top 100 of the country charts, too!!) on SOUNDCLICK again, and the 3year anniversary of her release of his song is approaching. Pretty amazing that it just keeps jumping back up there. I'll be back somenother time probably.************
07/28/2014; Mercy, getting to a place where I can get online seems to be a task that remains beyond my ability to perform consistently. I will, however, continue to try to accomplish a more frequent posting schedule. Nothing has happened much except that I went out and helped pick some wheat this year. Unfortunately there were only 65 hours that came my way; I really needed AT LEAST 100 hours to make it through on. Such is life I guess. Perhaps corn picking will be better for my wallet, that would be great. ***
04/21/2014; Trying to teach things over the telephone... OHHHKAYYY!!****************
03/24/2014; My goodness, someone worth reading in the blogs: who's posting frequently. Will wonders never cease? Thank you and I'll be sure to look in again Mr. Beer N. Hockey! Well spoken! As for this blogger, I'll keep trying to get here and be interesting, too. 'til next time then...***************** 03/01/2014; Things going fairly well, waiting for that 6th week of "more winter" to be getting to the point where it is over and done with. Some small dribbles of bux are starting to head my way finally; and perhaps things are looking up. Lost a friend of a number of years when he fell down outside his home and expired; he wound up buried in snow and the word isn't back yet as to whether or not it was exposure that got him or if he was dead when he fell over. But he lived alone except for his dog and until the dog went to the neighbors yard and was being taken back home my friend was not found. That living alone might be alright, but then something like this happens and you begin to rethink that thought! *************************** 02/12/2014; Dad says that his song by Donna Ray is up in the TOP 20 there ( SoundClick ) once again... I think that that is just as cool as the day is long. He is putting some stuff up on YouTube pretty soon and he does have a couple up that were put on by another party; they can be found under the handle of Mr Don Sir if you care to look for them. I'll be back again just as soon as I can. PROMISE! *************************************************************************** 11/29/2013; Today is almost 25 months since Donna Ray put up my Dads' song: "I TALK ABOUT YOU" and I saw that it is #4 on the ROCKABILLY charts and #84 on the country charts at SoundClick. And Dad has 5 songs here that you can buy! So please come help the guy out. *************************************************************************** 11/19/2013; Got done with all of the corn harvest that I'll be in on this year, and, for myself at least, I think things went well enough. Hoping that Dad will be getting some of his music out there for the world to begin purchasing... hope all the family is doing well. I'm sure that I'll be back again before too much longer, and I might even put up a NEW POST as opposed to adding another entry to an already old post. Everyone have great days. ttyl! ****************************************************************************** 10/03/2013; and though there's nothing more, I've at least stopped in again... and more swiftly than last time, too. **********************************************************************  09/03/2013 and I'm back with a sigh, that it's been so long since I was last here. *********************************************************************************  So come hear Donna Ray sing my Dads' song! And, if you want to have more of her fine music this song is on her Queen Of Survival album!

Sure Got Cold Again!

We're needing that snow which we are NOT getting in SouthWest Nebraska to be falling on us and getting that ground all covered up while the winter lasts, you know; something like trying to find an end to the drought we've been enduring for what now seems like decades. What we're getting, though, is some melting off and some packing down and a general thinning to non-existence of our snow cover. That lets the ground freeze and hastens the drying of it, making sure that what we'll have when we do get some scant moisture is the majority of that moisture running off. Making for floodings elsewhere and a missed chance for some ground softening along the way. Oh Well!! The library is undergoing construction and will be closed for up to 20 days beginning 1/15/2013: We'll know more on that, later. I'm hoping to be able to find someplace that's all capable of getting me connected to the WWW while that construction is going on, but in this burg I WON'T be holding my breath while looking. I guess I really DO need one of those smartphones I keep hearing are so great and that I see in so many hands, maybe the ISP @ home thing isn't so necessary any more, but right now this place has been serving fairly well. I'm going now to try to make some sales online happen. If it works for me, I will surely be saying so.

How Many Days Passed Was That Gap??

Hello Whoever, & I put it that way because of the failure on my part to make this thing any kind of interesting. Or to even make it here with any sort of consistency what-so-ever! That's the way things go when you're having the best of times which you can in the worst of times you might be living through. More changes are coming for McCook, NE and it seems that I'm going to be having a hand in some of it, both for the starting of the changes and then also in the day to day of the thing begun. We FINALLY got a smattering of moisture in this near desert we've been enduring, but the drought is far from broken or over, the wind pushed the snow into some pretty fair sized piles around the neighborhood, but it's going away without getting any replenishment and this isn't such a darned good thing at all. I WILL try to be back sooner and more frequently than has been happening, but who knows how that endeavor will go? Best of all to all in all, everyday!
